“ The turmeric cauliflower bowl was good. Nice presentation. While pricey it is a good amount of food. Recommend if you are looking for a vegan breakfast or lunch option in Whitehorse. ”
“ A continued favorite at each visit, so sad the tahini cookies were sold out, they are a MUST! Thank you for always stocking the best yoggu!! ”
“ We ordered the mushroom mocha and the vanilla latte as well as an avocado toast. Everything was very nice but we really loved the lady who took our order. She helped us out with some much needed information on the best Aurora viewing spots. Very friendly and helpful. ”
“ I came to Whitehorse for a work trip last week. I work as the parliamentary assistant for MP Brendan Hanley, and I got to visit the Yukon as we had two ministers come visit. This was my first time in the Yukon. Before travelling all my friends and family asked me what I would eat as a vegan. When I left I did not know. When I arrived, I could not have been happier after discovering the Kind Cafe. Before I talk about this restaurant, I would like to give a shoutout to Kind Cafe in Vancouver. It was one of my favourite restaurants when I was there. To this day it is one of the only places I have been to that is vegan and zero waste. Nevertheless, after discovering that there was The Kind Cafe in Whitehorse, I knew I had to go. I only had the privilege of eating at this restaurant twice when I was in town. Both times were glorious. I first went on Tuesday morning before work. I walked the 400 metres from my hotel(The Gold Rush Inn). I was thankful that it was so close, as I had left my winter coat in the office the evening before and I had to run there in a sweater. Having already finished winter in Ontario, I was shocked by the -20 temperature that morning. Upon arrival, I was instantly warmed up when I was greeted by the friendly staff. In my two trips I ate the lox carrot sandwich, Avocado Toast, a cookie and a brownie. There is only one word I can use to describe each item: Delectable. I was overjoyed with each bite I took. I thought I would be sad when I finished my meal, but I was perfectly satisfied. People often ask, what does the Kind in Kind cafe stand for? Is it the kind people? Is it the food that is kind to your palate, your body and the planet? Or is it the kind of person you are after eating there? The kind of person who cares more about others, who demonstrates compassion and stops to appreciate every moment of life. The answer. All of the above. ”
“ Traveller edition: Found this cute cafe spot for brunch. Avocado toast - generous and tasty! Hot chocolate - guilt free and tasty Server Gagan and another smiling face behind the cash. Would have loved to chat with the owner about her vision - this is a treasure find in Whitehorse. As an Oakville Ontario resident, this would be a tough find even in Downtown Toronto. MUST VISIT!!!! ”
“ On our recent visit to the Yukon we enjoyed the wonderful food and coffee at the Kind Cafe in Whitehorse a few times. The staff are friendly and cheery. The cafe is cozy and inviting. We enjoyed one meal at their outside table and one inside. The food and coffee is fresh and the almond butter banana toast was a pleasant surprise. It was busy all the time. Be patient. It’s worth the wait. ”
“ Great place for a filling and healthy breakfast! Can recommend the coffee, acai bowls and matcha latte ”
“ If you’re into hippie food - bowls with quinoa, legumes, tofu, veg, smoothies, vegan baking.... you’ll love it here. The portions are a bit small but really nice food. ”
